  1. In the drop-down menu that appears, select “Annotate”. Then click and drag your mouse over the portion of your computer screen that you’d like to capture.
  1. If you would like to annotate a previously taken picture, upload it to CloudApp. Then locate it in “Drops” tab, hover over it with your mouse, and click the “Pen” icon.
  1. Once your image has been taken or selected, you’ll be able to easily add arrows, text boxes, and other annotations to it using the left-hand menu options.
  1. When your image has been annotated to perfection, click the blue “Save” button in the upper-right hand corner of CloudApp and your masterpiece will automatically be uploaded to your personal CloudApp library. 

The PC Development Tool: 

  1. Download CloudApp to your PC computer. Then access the tool via the CloudApp icon located in the lower left-hand corner of your screen, in the Quick Launch Icon tray.
  1. In the pop-up menu that appears, select “Annotate”. Then click and drag your mouse over the portion of your computer screen that you’d like to capture.
  1. If you would like to annotate a previously taken picture, upload it to CloudApp. Then locate it in “Drops” tab, hover over it with your mouse, and click the “Pen” icon.
