Step 1: Sign-Up Information

Head on over to and click sign-up. This will direct you to a super simple sign-up form. Fill in your name, email or phone number, and date of birth to create a Twitter account. 

Step 2: Customize your experience

Once you’ve filled in your information, you will be prompted to another page. In order to create the best user experience for Twitter users, you have two options that you can either opt-in or opt-out of, personalized ads and track where you see Twitter content across the web. Basically these options are intended to tailor content and ads specific to you for an enhanced experience.

Step 3: Create a Twitter account

With the information provided in step 1, your form will auto-fill all the information required to successfully set up your account. Check to ensure the information is correct, and simply click next. 

Step 4: Create a Twitter account code

With the email or phone number provided, you will receive a personalized message with a unique verification code. Check your email inbox or text messages and fill in the personalized 6-digit code. 

Step 5: Create a Password

You’re almost done! Choose a password, that is at least 6 characters long, and press enter. At this point, you’ve completed all the essential components to create a Twitter account.
