The main use [for CloudApp] is making short videos on the fly. Three examples of how I have been using CloudApp videos are:
1. Making real time videos for Twitter chats
2. For training videos
3. To add personalization to my emails.

How long have you been using CloudApp?

I have been using CloudApp for a little over 6 months.

How many drops do you make in a week?

I would say 10-15.

What was the first CloudApp drop you created?

I made a few drops as practice, but I believe the first drop I created and shared was a screen shot of the first page of Chapter 1 for Ditch the Act. I've come a long way since just sharing screen shots, but you have to start at square one, right? Here is my first shared drop:

Can you share a few more CloudApp drops that you've created?

Here is one that I made from a livestream of UCI's Brilliant Future Campaign Launch, where they announced they are raising 2 billion dollars. I then shared it on social and it got good traction: https://share.getcloudapp.com/o0uxp6eO.

I always take screen shots, and I have CloudApp set up to turn them all into drops. Here is an example of a screen shot of a chunk of endorsement quotes for Ditch the Act: https://share.getcloudapp.com/qGuz0d85.

I also use Cloud App to make short videos. At UCI I am working on a tech platform that will allow students to upload video resumes to potential employers, and I needed a sample video to test it out, so I used CloudApp with just a couple clips: share.getcloudapp.com/7Kuxe0L6.

What is your main use for CloudApp's productivity software?

The main use is in making short videos on the fly. Three examples of how I have been using CloudApp videos are:
1. Making real time videos for Twitter chats
2. For training videos
3. To add personalization to my emails.

I also use it for sharing and storing screen shots (since CloudApp) puts my screen shots as sharable links automatically.

And I have been playing more and more with the GIF feature. I am going through my videos of talks, and trying to find good parts to make GIFs out of like this:

What is your favorite GIF?

I am going to say this one that someone made of me sailing:
