About our power user, Anthony Constantino

Founded in New York in 2010, Anthony Constantino of Sticker Mule set out with an ambitious vision to coat the world in custom stickers — whether it’s new logo stickers for a startup like CloudApp, an enterprise like Nike or Amazon, or even a commemorative sticker for your summer family reunion. Sticker Mule wants to be able to offer it all, at a great price, and as soon as possible.‍

How do you make the most of CloudApp?

At Sticker Mule, we are all constantly using CloudApp throughout the day. Asana is our primary project management tool and if there’s a new feature or screen we’re designing, we upload our creative assets to CloudApp and then add a direct CloudApp link into Asana. It’s great because you can just put the link directly into the task description to give it better context, and you can do it quickly and at the same time control where all of your content is.

We also use Slack at Sticker Mule, and one of the greatest things about CloudApp is how quickly you can share a screenshot or screen recording with the team. I just hit a quick hotkey, do a little editing, and drop it into Slack, and my whole team is immediately on the same page and doesn’t have to wait for me to type out a long explanation.‍

Which teams use CloudApp at Sticker Mule?

The entire company, all 40 of us, use it every day, but each team uses it a little bit differently to be most effective in their side of the business.

Customer Service Teams: They are using macros to send the same messages many times a day. Rather than insert attachments into each email and waste precious seconds on upload times, they simply insert a link. And when the customer problem is more detailed and requires a thoughtful response, a customer service team member can create a gif or screen recording about how to solve a user’s problem and simply drop that into our (support tool — Desk.com).

Business & Analytics Teams: We have an extensive reporting and analytics system that we use to communicate the health of the business to our teams. Whenever we want to quickly share a unique insight or graphic, rather than exporting a jpeg, which is slow and sucks, we just take a quick screenshot, and drop it into Slack or an email. We can then control who has access to that link and even shut it down afterwards by changing the permission settings to the link.

QA / Development: We have great developers, but if a customer, or a team member finds a bug, we want to communicate the problem as simply, and as clearly as possible back to them to make sure it’s fixed quickly. CloudApp lets us take a quick screenshot or video, annotate and directly state what we’re seeing as wrong right on the asset, and make a task in Asana and report it to the right person.‍
