Following investment, CloudApp launches plugin for Adobe XD
We’re thrilled to release today, the CloudApp plugin for Adobe® XD CC. With this plugin, XD users can capture and instantly share their designs with team members without leaving Adobe XD.
This integration comes on the heels of Adobe’s investment in CloudApp earlier this year as a part of the Adobe Fund for Design. Adobe’s $10 million fund supports emerging companies to build products and services that shape the future of design. The Adobe investment brings CloudApp’s total funding to $6 million which includes recent investments from Cervin Ventures, Bloomberg Beta and others.
“Designers on product teams need the tools to design software faster. With the addition of XD, Adobe gives them an extensible platform to build products from concept to completion,” says Tyler Koblasa, CEO of CloudApp.
“I’m proud to collaborate with Adobe. CloudApp provides the fastest sharing experience so designers can work efficiently. With a new tool like XD, we empower designers and makers to transform businesses and craft the technology of tomorrow.”
CloudApp’s plugin for Adobe XD debuts today, Monday October 15th 2018, at Adobe MAX in Los Angeles, CA – a leading global conference that brings together top creatives and leading experts to discuss the future of creativity and digital experience. Using the CloudApp plugin for Adobe XD, designers can share work faster and improve collaboration with clients and colleagues.
“We’re thrilled for CloudApp to launch its plugin for Adobe XD and have them as a part the Adobe Fund for Design,” said Vijay Vachani, director, partner platform and ecosystem, Creative Cloud at Adobe.
“At Adobe, we believe that we can change the world through digital experiences, and we welcome CloudApp to our ecosystem to continue to invest in the future of innovation, design and creativity.”
